Call for Papers

The deadline for submissions is Monday, February 18, 2008

APT's 40th Anniversary Conference will be Monday, October 13–Friday, October 17, 2008 in Montréal, Québec, Canada. Interdisciplinary Collaboration in Heritage Conservation, the theme of the APT Montréal 2008 Conference, celebrates not only the membership profile of APT but the increasingly interdisciplinary nature of heritage conservation (generally referred to as historic preservation in the US) approaches over the last four decades. It will be examined with a focus on two sub-themes: Sustainable Heritage Conservation and Conservation Technology and Philosophy. Each sub-theme will be the subject of a separate conference track.

In addition to paper sessions and panel discussions, a keynote address, field sessions, workshops and a symposium will be offered. A host of special events to celebrate APT's 40-year contribution to the conservation field will also be featured.
