Forum UNESCO-University and Heritage (FUUH) is an UNESCO Project for undertaking activities to protect and safeguard the cultural and natural heritage, through an informal networkof higher education institutions. FUUH is under the joint responsibility of the UNESCO World Heritage Centre and the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), Spain. This internet website is not an official site of UNESCO but a website created and managed by the UPV within the framework of the project FUUH.

Call for Papers

The deadline for the submission of communications is 15 March 2008

After a first seminar organised in Leuven from 11 to 16 June 2007, a second event will be held from 26 to 31 May in Fontevraud, in the heart of the Val de Loire World Heritage site.

Aimed at researchers and practitioners in the area of preventive conservation, these seminars are designed as a forum for sharing expertise and experiences, and include a series of presentations, workshops and demonstrations. SPRECOMAH (Seminars on Preventive Conservation and Monitoring of Architectural Heritage) is made up of several European partners led by the Catholic University of Leuven (Raymond Lemaire International Centre for Conservation) and the International Rivers and Heritage Institute.
