Forum UNESCO-University and Heritage (FUUH) is an UNESCO Project for undertaking activities to protect and safeguard the cultural and natural heritage, through an informal networkof higher education institutions. FUUH is under the joint responsibility of the UNESCO World Heritage Centre and the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), Spain. This internet website is not an official site of UNESCO but a website created and managed by the UPV within the framework of the project FUUH.

Summary:

Responding to the repeated demand from the researchers interested in taking part in the 4th European Symposium on Research in Architecture and Urban Design EURAU’08 Cultural Landscape, the Scientific Committee’s Secretary will accept proposals for papers until the 25th of May.

Authors are asked to strictly respect this deadline.

Euroengeo 2008 will take place in Madrid from 15 to 20 of september 2008, This forum will permit the meeting and exchange of ideas and knowledge
between specialists and experts in the field of geology applied to engineering.

On this occasion the papers will be fundamentally based on "The city and its subterranean environment". This however, does not imply any restrictions for other related fields of activity in this second edition of Euroengeo.

Call for papers:

One page abstract (max. 500 words), in english only, should be submitted to The Scientific committee and should be sent by e-mail (exceptionally only by regular mail).

On the basis of the content of such abstracts, the EUROENGEO 2008 scientific committee will review the proposed papers. For accepted subjects, the paper will be reviewed and its final version allocated either for oral communication, poster session or written communication. Special emphasis will be attributed to poster sessions.
