Forum UNESCO-University and Heritage (FUUH) is an UNESCO Project for undertaking activities to protect and safeguard the cultural and natural heritage, through an informal networkof higher education institutions. FUUH is under the joint responsibility of the UNESCO World Heritage Centre and the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), Spain. This internet website is not an official site of UNESCO but a website created and managed by the UPV within the framework of the project FUUH.

Summary:

Deadline for answering these call is April 7th, 2008.

The Seminar will bring together actors of culture and social development from various backgrounds (including representatives of local authorities, NGOs, foundations, research centers, universities, international organisations as well as artists and cultural practitioners.)

The objective is to exchange the latest ideas and practices on culture and heritage preservation as it relates to community development in both developed/developing environments.

The sessions will be hold in the city of Stalowa Wola (Poland), with an additional session in Krakow, hosted by the Jagiellonian University.
