The proud co-hosts are USP and the French Centre for Research
and Documentation on Oceania (CREDO) in Marseilles, with support
from ANU, and the Universities of French Polynesia and New Caledonia.
Structured along archaeology, anthropology, history and linguistics,
the symposium brings together some of the world’s leading
scientists to discourse “Pacific Roots” from the perspectives
of their specialised field.
Symposium Convenors are Serge Tcherzekoff of French Centre for Research
and Documentation on Oceania (CREDO); Daryl Tryon and Chris Ballard
of ANU, Paddy Nunn, Paul Geraghty, Ian Campbell and Morgan Tuimaleali’ifano
of USP, Sagale Buadromo and Sepeti Matararaba of the Fiji Museum.
