Forum UNESCO-University and Heritage (FUUH) is an UNESCO Project for undertaking activities to protect and safeguard the cultural and natural heritage, through an informal networkof higher education institutions. FUUH is under the joint responsibility of the UNESCO World Heritage Centre and the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), Spain. This internet website is not an official site of UNESCO but a website created and managed by the UPV within the framework of the project FUUH.

Title: Periodic Reporting Follow-up Meeting for the Mediterranean and South-eastern Europe subregions

Summary:

The main objective of the meeting its to discuss the results of the First Cycle of the Periodic Reporting exercise for the Mediterranean and South-Eastern subregions in relation to the protection and management of World Heritage properties, according to the decisions taken by the World Heritage Committee at its 31st session in July 2007 (31 COM 11A.1 and 31 COM 11A.2).

urthermore, the meeting will address Tentative Lists harmonization, statements of Outstanding Universal Value, management plans and transnational World Heritage nominations.
