This Workshop is part of the IFAP Project "Model of E-administration
for Heritage Humanity Cities (Cartagena, Cusco, Quito)". It is
aimed at approximately 25 people of the Municipality of Cusco in charge
of the technical processing, information recording to data bases,
catalogues and archives, registry and cataloguing of cultural property,
attention to the public; as well as to documentalists, librarians
and information analysts, in general, with the following objectives:
- To offer general guidelines for the application of the Documentation
Procedures handbook developed by the IFAP project.
- To review the basic skills of documentation and library science.
- To encourage the use of thesaurus as normalization tool.
- To provide skills for the elaboration of abstracts.
- To create an area for the exrchange of experiences between the
participants.
