Forum UNESCO-University and Heritage (FUUH) is an UNESCO Project for undertaking activities to protect and safeguard the cultural and natural heritage, through an informal networkof higher education institutions. FUUH is under the joint responsibility of the UNESCO World Heritage Centre and the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), Spain. This internet website is not an official site of UNESCO but a website created and managed by the UPV within the framework of the project FUUH.

Summary: The Master Plan for the Complete Revitalisation of the Havana Historical Centre, assigned to the Historian Bureau of the town of Havana, Cuba, convenes this meeting which provides an opportunity to think upon the rehabilitation of historical centres.

In this edition, this event is receiving the support of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and UNESCO, among other United Nation Agencies, which confirm the will of the UN to contribute actively to this forum in view of extending the event to a regional scope.
