Forum UNESCO-University and Heritage (FUUH) is an UNESCO Project for undertaking activities to protect and safeguard the cultural and natural heritage, through an informal networkof higher education institutions. FUUH is under the joint responsibility of the UNESCO World Heritage Centre and the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), Spain. This internet website is not an official site of UNESCO but a website created and managed by the UPV within the framework of the project FUUH.

Summary:

AWHIN delegates who are the Traditional Custodians from World Heritage properties across Australia will be visiting the GBMWHA from Thursday 23 to Monday the 27 October 2008.

They will make their way to Katoomba on Thursday for a Welcome to Country and AWHIN dinner with local Aboriginal Community Elders, members and dignitaries.

Friday will see AWHIN delegates come together for the conference to discuss Aboriginal issues surrounding the management of World Heritage properties.
Delegates will join the Living Country Culture Camp at Dunns Swamp and return to Katoomba on Monday 27 October to close the Conference.
