The conference, Preserving the Historic Road, is dedicated to
the identification, preservation and management of historic roads
in the United States and interested nations across the globe. The
conference brings together professional practitioners and advocates
interested in highway heritage, engineering, safety and cultural
landscapes associated with historic roads. We extend a warm welcome
to our colleagues in North America and overseas to join us in Albuquerque,
New Mexico, USA, September 11-14, 2008 to participate in the dialogue
and share examples of their historic roads. The official language
of the conference is English. We look forward to welcoming you in
