These Rendez-vous will combine workshops and plenary sessions
and will take place throughout the day. They will bring together
all public and private sector actors involved with the inscription
of the LoireValley on the UNESCO World Heritage List with representatives
from other listed sites.
The 2008 Rendez-vous are particularly important:
- On the one hand, the Centre and Pays de la Loire regional authorities
have identified new strategic directions for the Mission Val de
Loire agency and the State has recently commissioned a study into
a site management plan;
- On the other hand, the Spring 2008 elections led to a thoroughgoing
renewal of the municipal and departmental teams.
The programme and the terms and conditions for inscription will
be published in the autumn.
