Forum UNESCO-University and Heritage (FUUH) is an UNESCO Project for undertaking activities to protect and safeguard the cultural and natural heritage, through an informal networkof higher education institutions. FUUH is under the joint responsibility of the UNESCO World Heritage Centre and the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), Spain. This internet website is not an official site of UNESCO but a website created and managed by the UPV within the framework of the project FUUH.

Red List of Afghanistan Antiquities at Risk publication
UNESCO is participating in the official presentation in France of the International Council of Museums (ICOM) publication: Red List of Afghanistan Antiquities at Risk at the Guimet Museum in Paris on the morning of 24 April 2007. Press launchings have also recently been held in Belgium and Washington D.C.

Moveable Heritage Outreach Programme

This programme aims to inform museum visitors, users and owners of collections and concerned public on the value and significance of the different aspects of movable cultural properties. It also seeks to increase awareness of various members of the public on the importance of their contribution to the appropriate management of museum collections.

This handbook, entitled Réalisation de projets en ligne sur le patrimoine, offers an approach to online planning, making, sending and operating a product on heritage. Written up by an team of heritage professionals, it is the result of the competences and opinions from different representatives of the Canadian community of heritage and the museums. Whether to promote its page Web, offer education programs and entertainment to its users, sell items from the museum store or to display a dynamic virtual exhibition of its collections, this handbook can give a solid base to its project.
