Forum UNESCO-University and Heritage (FUUH) is an UNESCO Project for undertaking activities to protect and safeguard the cultural and natural heritage, through an informal networkof higher education institutions. FUUH is under the joint responsibility of the UNESCO World Heritage Centre and the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), Spain. This internet website is not an official site of UNESCO but a website created and managed by the UPV within the framework of the project FUUH.

Workshop on Museum Certification
Last March 16, UNESCO Guatemala coordinated a workshop on Museum Certification whose primary objectives were the following among others: a) to ensure that Guatemala's private and public museums meet the basic requirements for visitors' service, b) to strengthen the National Coordinator of Museums (CONAMUS) and the Association of Museums of Guatemala (AMG) in its support to the improvement of museums, c) to strengthen the museums by creating a specific mission and vision, d) to have in Guatemala museums to safeguard the cultural and natural heritage, tangible and intangible.

Travelling cart in the streets of San José
On May 5 and 6 2007 several activities were carried out in the National Museum of Costa Rica on the occasion of its 120th anniversary and the International Day of Museums. Within the framework of these activities the "travelling Cart" was inaugurated - an educative suitcase, specially designed, built and decorated, which contains a set of didactic materials.

A very complete and interesting database can be found in the Goethe Institut website: Curators from Germany. This database presents curators of German nationality, or curators who work in Germany, who are active in the field of contemporary art. So, if you are looking or german curators or related to Germany in fields like Urbanism, Art Education and Mediation, Art in Public spaces, among others, you know where to look! In addition to biographical information and links to selected projects or institutions, most of the portraits also include a curatorial statement, in which the curators talk about their own curatorial approach or their understanding of the task of a curator.
