PDF From Ougadougou to Libreville, the first fruit
The implementation of the "Museums at the service of development" programme (Msd) has been extended by two major meetings: one in Ouagadougou, from April 2 to 6, then one in Libreville, from June 4 to 8, 2007. The results already achieved, in accordance with the objectives, are very encouraging. For example, the necessary cooperation between museum professionals and key actors of the educational world in order to enable African children to better know their cultural heritage is now under way. Testifying to this is the high level of participation of actors from the School sector (directors of national pedagogical institutes, inspectors, teachers, etc.) and the quality of their contribution to the question of cultural education in Africa.
