Forum UNESCO-University and Heritage (FUUH) is an UNESCO Project for undertaking activities to protect and safeguard the cultural and natural heritage, through an informal networkof higher education institutions. FUUH is under the joint responsibility of the UNESCO World Heritage Centre and the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), Spain. This internet website is not an official site of UNESCO but a website created and managed by the UPV within the framework of the project FUUH.

Interpretation Guidelines launched. Australia
West Australian Heritage Minister Michelle Roberts launched Sharing Our Stories: guidelines for heritage interpretation. This is a comprehensive but easily accessible document providing tools for planning and delivering a range of interpretation projects including walk trails, museum exhibitions and educational programs. It is aimed at anyone interested in interpretation from community groups, local and regional museums, heritage sites, keeping places and state and local government bodies.

This publication is an extensive study (social, territorial) dedicated to the reconstruction of the Rural Architectural Heritage of Caserta (ager Falernus, Statanus, Campanus - Italy), a region which encompasses all aspects of Cultural Landscapes. It has already received 18 patronages (the Council of Europe, the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Environmental Conservation, etc.).This book describes the infrastructures of the territory which were represented by the centuriation including small rural centres and urbanized commercial areas with autonomous administration (pagus, vicus, terma). The layout of the gully drains and the great farms are important evidences of ancient Roman sites.

The draft of the new ICOMOS declaration on immaterial heritage
Drafted in Kimberley last April, it is being facilitated by courtesy of the International Scientific Committee of Immaterial Heritage for its discussion at regional level between the members in view of the meeting of Québec of next year. According to Víctor Marín (UNESCO Habana, personal comment), this rough draft could contribute to reduce the conceptual breach that divides the heritage into categories and favor a wider conception of heritage in all its fields, better linking the conventions and specially those of 1972 and 2003…
