Forum UNESCO-University and Heritage (FUUH) is an UNESCO Project for undertaking activities to protect and safeguard the cultural and natural heritage, through an informal networkof higher education institutions. FUUH is under the joint responsibility of the UNESCO World Heritage Centre and the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), Spain. This internet website is not an official site of UNESCO but a website created and managed by the UPV within the framework of the project FUUH.

Unique: marsh biotopes and sites
The first 2007 issue of the quarterly journal of the federal Office of the environment proposes an important dossier on biotopes and marshy sites. An occasion to better understand the need to protect and to act so that approximately fifty thousand species animals and vegetables that live in them continue being part of the national natural heritage.

Photographic exhibition: "Identities: animals of the land and biodiversity "by Philippe Deschamps
From October 7 to 31, 2007. Identities is a photographic exhibition conceived to inform on the problematic of the local races. Domestic animals have not been born from chance, they have been conceived by men who, considering their means and their skill, have built little by little based on the availabilities of the land, their geographic location and the flows of local and territorial interchange, "animal tools" adapted to their needs.

Photo Exhibition: "From Biodiversity to Cultural Diversity" by Sigrid Rothe
From 5 to 15 March 2007 - Room Miro I & II. This exhibition will present the work of the German photographer Sigrid Rothe. Her exhibition reunites close-up flower portraits, so called "photographic paintings" with photographs of offerings composed of fruits, flowers, rice and colour pigments, captured in November 2005 during the Hindu festival "Tihar" in Nepal.
