Forum UNESCO-University and Heritage (FUUH) is an UNESCO Project for undertaking activities to protect and safeguard the cultural and natural heritage, through an informal networkof higher education institutions. FUUH is under the joint responsibility of the UNESCO World Heritage Centre and the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), Spain. This internet website is not an official site of UNESCO but a website created and managed by the UPV within the framework of the project FUUH.

UNESCO and the Saudi Committee for the Relief of the Palestinian People sign an agreement on university study grants in favour of Palestinian students
On Tuesday 24 April 2007, Mr Koïchiro Matsuura, Director-General of UNESCO, Dr Said Al Orabi Al Harthi, Chairman of the Saudi Committee for the Relief of the Palestinian People and special advisor to HRH Prince Naef Bin Abdul Aziz, Minister of Interior of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and H.E. Mr Elias Sanbar, Ambassador and Permanent Observer of Palestine to UNESCO, signed a joint Memorandum of Understanding on study grants in favour of Palestinian students.

Bursaries for post-doctoral research to be supported by the Institute
