The
Director-General opens an international meeting of prospectivists
The Director-General opened on July 7, 2008 in the UNESCO Headquarters
an international meeting of prospectivists aimed at indicating the
operative launching of the intersectorial platform on the anticipation
and the prospective. In his speech, Mr. Matsuura was glad to see “the
presence of numerous experts” from very prestigious institutions"
with a view to initiating with UNESCO" a collective reflection
on the role of prospective and the way in which it could beneficially
irrigate the ways to do and think of an Organization like ours".
