Magazine tourist excellence of the Caribbean and the Américas
Since 2005, there has been a continued voluntary and interinstitutional collaboration with the magazine to take UNESCO’s message to a wider audience, and without the usual dissemination costs. The collaboration is obtained, specially through short and illustrated papers with high impact towards a group of 10,000 readers for each issue that is made up of tourists, entrepreneurs and travellers. Such papers are written by people from outside the organization and not necessarily representing the official opinion of this, and emphasize, by suggestion of UNESCO, topics of high interest for the Organization like for example crafts, underwater cultural heritage, intangible heritage, masterpieces of this oral heritage, historical centers, other heritage sites and different places that host UNESCO projects or which show the wide cultural diversity and Caribbean biodiversity.
