FUUH is under the joint responsibility of the UNESCO World Heritage Centre and the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) Spain. This internet website is not an official site of UNESCO but a website created and managed by the UPV within the framework of the project FUUH.

    Sabato 11 aprile 2009 sarà una giornata molto importante per la tutela dell’ambiente e del territorio montano. Il Ministro dell’Istruzione, dell’Università e della Ricerca, On. Mariastella Gelmini, infatti, incontrerà i rappresentanti dell’Università della Montagna, in occasione dell’inaugurazione dell’attività didattica del nuovo Centro Studi per la Gestione Sostenibile e la Difesa della Montagna (Ge.S.Di.Mont.) e del Corso di Laurea triennale in Valorizzazione e Tutela dell’Ambiente e del Territorio Montano con sede a Edolo (BS).

    Food, dance, music, traditional knowledge, performance, films, tourism, advertising, books, architecture, software, photography, even blank CDs… The list of cultural domains is extensive. The UNESCO Institute for Statistics (UIS) and UNESCO Bangkok’s aim to capture tangible and intangible heritage into quantifiable means is undoubtedly a challenging feat to accomplish, but not entirely impossible.   • Coupons can buy knowledge and change lives - UNESCO Coupons Programme
    The Coupons Programme contributes to UNESCO's efforts to promote education. This Programme was designed to provide assistance to countries with non-convertible currency or suffering from a shortage of convertible currencies to purchase educational and scientific materials from abroad and to pay school and university tuition fees and subscriptions to educational, scientific or cultural institutions throughout the world.
